1 - Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions relate to a short-term rental of the apartment specified on the booking form made between the client and the owners of Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments ("the owners"), John and Androulla Morgan, binding from such time that booking is made and inclusive of all the following conditions.
By making a booking the client contracts on behalf of himself/herself and all those in his/her party and represents that he/she has the authority to accept these conditions on behalf of and binding upon all guests in his/her party.
Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the apartment is taken for holiday/business purposes only and that, excepting babies, the number of people in each apartment is limited to that entered on the booking form.
The client and any friends or family of the client visiting the apartment while the client is staying there must adhere to the conditions of the contract. If inviting friends to visit the client must first seek the permission of the owners.

2 - Payment

A £200 deposit is payable on booking/before the start of the rental. Full payment is payable on a booking if the booking is made less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental (within 24 hours for business bookings). Bookings are provisional until a deposit or full payment is received and are held for 7 days (24 hours for business bookings). The balance shall be payable 8 weeks before the commencement of the rental (within 24 hours for business bookings). Non-payment of the balance of the rent or non-payment of the full amount of the rent on or after the due date will be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the client.

3 - Cancellation

Any cancellation made by the client for whatever reason should be sent to the following email address  info@falmouthbayholidayapartments.co.uk
In the event of a cancellation being made more than 8 weeks before the start of the rental a full refund will be made less an administrative charge of £30. In the event of a cancellation being made less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental the total cost may be payable if the apartment cannot be re-let. On receipt of the notice of cancellation Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments will seek to re-let the apartment for the period of booking. If a re-letting is achieved, Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments will refund money already paid by the client less rent for any part of the period which was not able to be re-let and less an administrative charge of £30. The client is strongly advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance.

4 - Period of Hire

Rentals for either of Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments commence at 3pm on the day of arrival and terminate at 10.00am on the day of departure.
The arrival time should be arranged in advance. The client should arrange an estimated time with either John or Androulla Morgan and inform them of any changes to that time to ensure somebody is available to show the client into the property.

5 - Right of Entry

Whilst respecting the reasonable privacy of the client, the owners of Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments reserve the right to access all apartments at all times, if necessary, for repairs and emergencies.

6 - Care of the Property

The client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the apartment and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or around the apartment and leave them in the same state of repair, condition, cleanliness and tidiness as at the commencement of the rental period.

7 - Breakages or Damage

The client is required to inform the owner of any damage or breakage in or around the apartment promptly so that it can be repaired and replaced for the next client.
The client is bound to reimburse the owners for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs where reasonably demanded by the owners for damage caused by the client.

8 - Rules and Procedures

Clients are required to observe the rules and familiarise themselves with the procedures contained in the information folder provided in each apartment.

9 - Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the holiday accommodation.

10 - Pets

No pets are permitted.

11 - Liability

The owners of Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments are not liable for any loss or damage to any client's property or any property belonging to a member of the client's party howsoever caused. The client or members of his/her party cannot hold the owners of Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments liable for any personal injury/death howsoever sustained where the owners and/or their employees have used reasonable skill and care; and/or where caused by the fault of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party (including inadequate supervision of children); and/or where caused by the fault of a third party, and/or where caused by an event that could not have been reasonably foreseen or avoided.

12 - Car Parking

Parking is free for Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartment guests. One parking space is allocated for each apartment. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owners risk. The owners of Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.

13 - Privacy

Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation data rules 2018. We take appropriate security measures to safeguard your data and apply security standards & controls to prevent any unauthorised access to it. We do not use cookies for collecting personal information and we only collect data relating to your booking. If you send us an e-mail message or complete an on-line form , we will use your e-mail/postal address and any information you provide to deal with and respond to your query or comments. This privacy statement applies only to the Falmouth Bay Holiday Apartments website . We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third party web sites that may be linked to our web pages.
